This Refund Policy explains when Gawergy Audio may issue refunds for plugins, license keys, software downloads, and other digital products.
By purchasing a Gawergy Audio product, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Summary
Gawergy Audio offers a 14-day compatibility refund policy for supported systems.
If you purchase a plugin, experience a technical issue on a supported system, contact us within 14 days of purchase, cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting, and we cannot reasonably resolve the issue, we may issue a refund.
This is not an unlimited “try it and return it” policy. Because our products are digital downloads with license keys and activation access, refunds are limited to the terms below.
2. Refund Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date.
The refund window starts on the purchase date, not the activation date, download date, installation date, first use date, or first support contact.
Refund requests submitted after 14 days may be denied.
3. Compatibility Refunds
You may be eligible for a refund if all of the following are true:
- You purchased the product from an official Gawergy Audio or authorized checkout page
- You are using a supported operating system, supported plugin format, and supported host/DAW listed on the product page
- The plugin has a technical issue that prevents normal use
- You contact support within 14 days of purchase
- You provide reasonable information needed to troubleshoot the issue
- You cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting steps
- Gawergy Audio cannot reasonably resolve the issue
Supported systems and plugin formats are listed on the product page. At launch, a product may support macOS VST3 only unless stated otherwise.
Planned formats such as AU, Windows, AAX, or other plugin formats are not considered supported until officially released and listed as supported on the product page.
4. Refunds We May Approve
Gawergy Audio may approve refunds for:
- Unresolved technical compatibility issues on a supported system
- Duplicate purchases
- Accidental purchases, at our discretion
- License activation issues that we cannot resolve
- Payment/order issues verified through the checkout provider
- Other cases approved by Gawergy Audio in writing
5. Refunds We May Deny
Gawergy Audio may deny refunds for:
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase
- Unsupported operating systems
- Unsupported DAWs or host applications
- Unsupported plugin formats
- Failure to read compatibility requirements before purchasing
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind after purchase
- Preference-based reasons, such as not liking the sound, workflow, design, loudness, tone, or features
- Requests based on expected future features, AU support, Windows support, AAX support, or other unreleased formats
- Promo code/free access licenses
- Discounted, bundled, beta, pre-release, or special-offer products where stated as non-refundable
- Shared, resold, leaked, cracked, modified, or unauthorized copies
- License abuse, activation abuse, suspicious activity, fraud, or policy violations
- Chargebacks or payment disputes filed before contacting support
- Inability to use the product caused by third-party software, DAW bugs, operating system updates, hardware issues, audio interface issues, user error, or unsupported configurations
- Failure to cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting
- Repeated or abusive refund requests
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email:
Include:
- Order email
- Order number, if available
- Product name
- Purchase date
- Operating system version
- DAW/host name and version
- Plugin format
- Description of the issue
- Screenshots, error messages, crash logs, or steps to reproduce the issue, if available
We may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting steps before approving a refund.
7. Troubleshooting Requirement
Before issuing a compatibility refund, Gawergy Audio may attempt to resolve the issue.
This may include asking you to:
- Confirm your operating system
- Confirm your DAW/host version
- Confirm plugin format
- Restart or rescan plugins in your DAW
- Reinstall the plugin
- Send screenshots or crash logs
- Test a corrected build or update, if available
- Confirm whether other third-party plugins, host settings, or system issues may be involved
If you do not provide the requested information or do not cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting, your refund request may be denied.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy or the applicable payment processor.
Refund processing times may depend on Lemon Squeezy, your payment method, your card issuer, your bank, or other payment networks.
Gawergy Audio does not control bank, card issuer, or payment processor timelines.
Currency conversion fees, bank fees, card fees, and third-party fees may not be refundable depending on your payment provider or applicable law.
9. License Deactivation After Refund
If a refund is issued:
- Your license key may be deactivated
- Your activations may be revoked
- Activation tokens may be disabled
- Download access may be removed
- You must stop using the product
- You must uninstall and delete the refunded plugin from your devices
- You may lose access to updates, downloads, and support for that product
Continuing to use a refunded product is not allowed.
10. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with a purchase, contact Gawergy Audio first at:
Chargebacks, payment disputes, fraudulent purchases, or unauthorized payment activity may result in:
- License suspension
- License revocation
- Download access removal
- Refusal of future purchases
- Refusal of future support
- Fraud review through Lemon Squeezy or the applicable payment processor
11. Promo Codes and Free Access
Promo codes, free access codes, complimentary licenses, beta access, influencer access, test access, and other no-cost licenses are not eligible for refunds because no purchase price was paid.
Promo access may be limited, disabled, revoked, or expired at Gawergy Audio’s discretion.
12. Product Compatibility Responsibility
Before purchasing, you are responsible for reviewing the product page and confirming that your system is supported.
Gawergy Audio is not required to refund purchases made for unsupported systems, unsupported DAWs, unsupported plugin formats, unsupported operating systems, or unreleased future formats.
13. One-Time Purchases
Unless stated otherwise on the product page, Gawergy Audio plugins are sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
A one-time purchase does not guarantee lifetime updates, all future major versions, all future plugin formats, or compatibility with every future operating system or DAW update.
14. Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.
If any part of this Refund Policy is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Changes to This Refund Policy
Gawergy Audio may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

The “Effective Date” above will reflect the latest update. Continued purchases or use of our products after changes are posted means you accept the updated Refund Policy.
